PSA: Be Kind

This PSA is a kind reminder for New Yorkers to not be an a**hole. A playful and eye catching poster aimed to help spread kindness around New York city. The toughest part was creating a phrase that would be very neutral and can be a tagline that serves all age demographics. Thinking about how to maintain a serious tone but also being playful towards New Yorkers in general had also been a challenge to figure out. This poster series had been displayed in a showcase at the School of Visual Arts as well as LinkNYC.

“Be Kind, it’s free”

PSA: #TellYourSons

This public service announcment targets issues of toxic masculinity. As a man that was born in the late 90’s the concept of “Toxic masculunity” has played a large role in my life. Not being “Manly enough” had plagued my mind as I had been raised by a matriarchal household. These are a few things I wish I had been told growing up. This poster series had been displayed in a showcase at the School of Visual Arts.

Event Poster:
Bangla New Era Presents, “About Damn Time”, The festival

Bangla New Era (BNE) is a south asian promoter and event producer located out of Bangladesh. They are the first festival in bangladesh as well as they host many artist showcases, concerts, and shows in LA and NY. This project had been for a logo identy + event poster that would be placed around the city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The direction I had chose to take had been a bit more traditional by keeping South asian elements in a modern way. The iconography that makes up the border are special designs that are normally found on decorative transporting / work trucks in Bangladesh and the colors are very vibrant and light - similar to how these trucks / posters in Bangladesh are.

Tour Poster: Yeat, LYFE TOUR

I had been reached out to create and help on some iteration of the Yeat Lyfe Tour. The typeface is a custom typeface I had created for the occassion. Incorporating the traditional “yeat” style / art direction by creating something punk / grungey and almost like a beast. I had chosen to mix swiss design with the custom type to create something unique and eye catching for the viewer. A not-so-traditional take using a traditional style.

Event Poster: Forma Publishing x Bookclub Bar

This is a poster series for a book fair / open mic night located at Bookclub Bar in the lower east side. The general design direction I had took was swiss - with a NYC grunge flare (analog elements). The combination of the two had seemed to be the perfect representation of how the Bookclub Bar feels.
